Be on Alert

After 8 years, I got a chance to see him. He was one of my closest friends in college. We talked about the past, the present and our plans for the future.

Before we part ways, he told me that he still remembers the Bible verse that I have thought him during our college days. I couldn't remember that so I asked him to recite that verse. He said, " Delay yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart".

It sounded like one of my favorite verses in the Bible - Psalm 37:4. But what he said was different. What the Bible really says is " Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."

Have you been delaying yourself in the Lord? Have we been so slow in following His will? Please do not delay. Follow Christ while you still can. You never know when your life will come to an end.

New Year's Resolution

February 14, 2010, first day of the Chinese Lunar Year. I was very glad and excited about this day. Our church here in Singapore (Mosaic Ministries), had its yearly Crossroad 101 held in Holiday Inn, Singapore. This is the basic introduction to our church family. This class was designed to clearly explain who and what our church is.




It was a very good timing since the world is also celebrating Valentine's Day. What a way to celebrate Heart's day through re-committing oneself to Christ. God is love and should be the center of our love life.




When Mosaic Ministries started Pastor Noel Tan said that they have only started with 50 members. Now, the church is praying for a new venue since the Cathay Cine Leisure is now almost full.

I like it so much when Pastor Noel showed us a video of someone who's very religious. In fact, one time or another, I have been like him too.

Please take time to watch this video. You might see yourself in him too.

After watching this video, I couldn't help my tears from falling. It is really frustrating to know how we people often times do the things we do out of ignorance. God help us all.

Talk to the Boss

My current job is making me realize a lot of things. I am now connected in a Maid Agency.

Too many times, we think that our job dictates our worth. That is not true. God has fearfully and wonderfully created us. We are His masterpiece.

What I like most about this job is that I get to speak and sometimes counsel the maids. Whenever I get to talk to them I always tell them that they are important; that they work should not let them feel inferior. They are important to God and they are valuable to God.

I have arranged some interviews between Employers and Maids. I noticed that there's one thing in common - whenever parents looked for Maids who can take care of their kids, they would often times let the kids decide.

Some parents even said that these kids are the bosses; they are just the financiers. They said that they will hire someone whom the kids would like to hire.

Other parents would bring books while interviewing the maid and let the maid read stories for the kids. Some would let the kids play with the applicants so they can see who's sincere in dealing with their child and who's not.

It reminded me about our Father God in heaven. He has sent His son, Jesus and He promised to give life to those who will honor and believe in the name of His son, Jesus.

John 1:12

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.

Mall time

Here were some of the pictures of my family taken when they went to Mall of Asia earlier. I miss them all the more.







I went to the mall too. It's nice to think that we were doing the same thing at the same time under the same sky. :)







Seeing the smiles in their faces gives me so much joy.
