Water Baptism

I have been a Christian for years now. I have been wanting to be baptized but due to circumstances in the past I have not done it yet.

When I left for Singapore, one of my prayers is that I get to be closer to the Lord; that this time of separation from my family will be a time for me to get closer to God.

God has been faithful to me all my life. I am not perfect and a lot of times I have done things that I know I should have not done. God's love is amazing and in my life, I have come to know that God is really alive and He is working in us.

My heart is overflowing with gladness today as I walked another step of faith - to be baptized.

Baptism (by full immersion in water as taught in the Bible)is not something that can save us. It is an act that symbolizes our obedience to our Lord. The Bible says that baptism declares three things: (1) We are dead in Christ, (2) we are buried with him, (3) we have risen with Christ to become a new person dedicated to a life that desires to follow God.

To God be the glory!!!

Congratulations, Seandy.

I am been very busy at work that I no longer have time to post on my blog. Anyway, this is just post to greet my son. They had their graduation last Wednesday. Next year he will be in grade 1.

I pray that God will continue to bless him and guide him all throughout his life.

Again, congratulations, Seandy. Mommy is so proud of you.

Keep it up, my son.
