Kahit Ulitin Pa Man

Sa gabi ay dalangin na
Sa araw namay pangarap ka
Ito ang damdamin ko
Mula ng lumisan ka

Kahit malayo man
Laging hiling sa Maykapal
Damhin ang paglinga ko
Hangga't magbalik mahal

Kahit na ulitin pa ma
Ang panahong nilalaan
Sa paghihintay, hindi mapapagal

Batid ng Diyos ang nilalaman
Pag-ibig ko'y sayo lamang
Di magbabago, magpakailan pa man..

Patuloy ingatan ka
Pag-ibig natin sa isat isa
Ito ang dalangin ko
Sa bawat gabi, Sinta

At pagbalik mong muli
Hindi namuling mawalay pa
Ito ang pangarap ko
Bawat araw, Sinta

Kahit na ulitin pa ma
Ang panahong nilalaan
Sa paghihintay, hindi mapapagal

Batid ng Diyos ang nilalaman
Pag-ibig ko'y sayo lamang
Di magbabago, magpakailan pa man..

Nasaana ka man
Dalanging sa'yo ilalaan

Kahit na ulitin pa ma
Ang panahong nilalaan
Sa paghihintay, hindi mapapagal

Batid ng Diyos ang nilalaman
Pag-ibig ko'y sayo lamang
Di magbabago, magpakailan pa man..

Merry Christmas

I had a very interesting Christmas eve party last night.

Days before the Christmas eve, my friends and family have been reminding me to be strong and not to cry - they were all worried about me.

My new friends here in Singapore invited me to go with them since they will have a party at home.

But, I have decided to stay at home. I'd rather stay online and watch my family via webcam and wait with them until midnight.

Been surrounded by too many people but I still feel all alone inside the mall.

I am currently under OJT, and we closed at 5:00 pm. It was still too early so I went to malls first and ate my dinner. I went home at around 7:00. Since, I knew I will be alone at home, I just bought "prata" and Spam for my noche buena.

With my new friend, Cris at Beyond Beauty. I am on training as a Front Desk Executive.

I waited and stayed online. My husband asked me to teach him how to cook Baked Macaroni.

My kids showed me the gifts they received and I saw the excitement in their faces while they opened the gifts one by one.

They played music and we sang songs. I even asked them to key in "Hinahanap hanap Kita" by regine and I sang with them.

My sister sang an upbeat song and I danced with them. LOL. I am just glad I was alone at house!

My sisters with niece and nephew.

I heared my little girl's giggle while I was dancing with them. She kept laughing and kept saying, "Mommy". After our "dance number", my little girl got tired and fell asleep. I was lucky to even see her closed her eyes while my husband sent her to bed.

We then continued - singing and dancing, joking and laughing. I felt like I was really there. It was about 2 am when I decided I had to go to sleep. It was a fun party.

Thanks to technology, I was able to enjoy Cyber Christmas celebration with my family at home. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Should I celebrate Christmas?

It’s Christmas once again. I bet most of us are excited about this. Most of us have decorated our homes, set up Christmas Tree and underneath it are gifts for our loved ones. Almost everyone had prepared the recipes for the food on the table on that special day.

A lot of things happened to me in time for the Christmas celebration. I would like to list them down so I wouldn’t forget.

1. I am away from my family.
2. First time to be away from my kids and my husband on a very special day.
3. I have lost a niece. My sister gave birth last December 9 but the baby didn’t make it.
4. My nephew fell down and hit his head and needed a CT scan.
5. I will be alone on Christmas eve; my housemates will either go to home to the Philippines or will stay at their friend’s house.
6. I still couldn’t afford to send big amount of money since I have not started working yet.
7. I couldn’t afford to give gifts for my loved ones.
8. My son is sick (hopefully he gets well before Christmas).
9. I miss my husband and my kids.
10. My application for an Employment pass has been rejected. My employer had to make an appeal and I have to wait for 3 weeks more for the result.

But despite everything, I know I still have to celebrate Christmas. Why? Because Christmas is not dependent on what I am going through right now. Because Christmas brings hope. Because Christmas is a celebration of the love of God - that a Messiah was born to save us. It is the sole reason why I need to celebrate.

What a Compassionate God He is.

I never had any doubt that God loves me so. However, there are times when it's really hard to just live by faith. Christianity is not hard - it's impossible. But as long as we believe in a living God nothing will be impossible for us.

I was reminded by God again and again of much He cares and how much He loves me. I was reading the word earlier and I was on John 11:32-35.

"32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."
33 When Jesus saw her weeping, the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34 "Where have you laid him?" he asked. "Come and see, Lord," they replied. "35 Then Jesus wept.

These verses reminded me that God really cares for each of us. Jesus sacrificed His life for us. He cries when we cry too.

Bread of Life Singapore

It was Sunday once again. A very special day for me. I am in a new place now, but I had to make sure I still attend the Sunday service. I forgot to ask the brethren for the address of our church here in Singapore, so I just searched online and with God's grace, I was able to find it. However, it was a totally different church. This a Singaporean church. They are the same in a way that our church and this church both believe in the same God.

It was a good thing I have attended the English service. It was also good since the praise and worship songs are familiar. These are the same songs we sing in our church.

Below is Pastor Sin Liak Oon and the other is his interpreter.

This is their banner.

This is the projector showing the Scripture Reference for the sermon today.

I was really blessed with this service. It was very good experience. Indeed God is great and His name is blessed among all nations. We worship with different tongues but was blessed with the One True God.

The Praise and Worship Team also introduced a new song called My Abba. Here is the lyrics of that song.

My Abba My Father

You know the plans you have for me
You will complete your work in me

My name's engraved upon your heart
Because of Christ, I am your child

Bridge
I'll be still know that you are God
By your Spirit, l cry

Chorus
My Abba, My Father
You'll love me forever
My future's secure in your hand

You've crowned me with glory
to worship you only
To none else will I bow my heart

For you are my Abba, My God

My Family

I really love Sunday, because it's the day when I can recharge my spirit by attending Sunday Services and it is also a day when I can get to spend time with my family.

Here are just some pictures taken today.

On our way to church, I heard my daughter said, "Wow, moon!" It was a great reminder for me to know that nothing is impossible with God. It was just nice to see the moon at daytime.

After church we ate at Kenny Roger's.

On our way home we passed by a Studio and we decided to take a family picture. :)

On the van going home. My hand locked with my daughter's hand.
